This is a fairly typical critique night except for a few things: 
1. There will be strict time limits to spice things up and facilitate critiquing more works. 
2. No excuses.

Each artist is allotted one minute to present one piece of work, in progress or completed. After the work is completed, the group has 10 minutes to critique the work. Artists are also allowed to speak during this time.

The group is encouraged to be as honest as necessary, but without unbacked negative claims. There is no ego stroking at this critique night. This is the place to come if you want serious feedback on your work that will help you improve each piece.

We will critique all visual art: paintings, etchings, videos, performance, photographs, etc. You should bring one piece of work, in progress or completed. Be prepared to speak for 60 seconds or less about the background on the piece and what you hoped to accomplish with it. Be prepared for honest critiques that may bruise your ego and may also give you new insight on where to go next.
